Album by Unknown Photographer of Archeological Sites in Iran. 88 Silver Prints from 3.7 x 4.25 to 5 x 7 inches, 10 are loose, the others mounted with glue on the album pages., Most of the photographs are of Persepolis, with others of a Sasanian site.
| There are six panoramas, made from either two or three photographs (see the examples above). The album is probably from about 1920. Early photographs from Iran rare in the market. The photographs are are in good condition, though a few of the loose prints have dented or bent corners.
| The cover with one of the pages is detached. There are some brief notations on the album pages.

| | | | | | | Photographs 5181 to 5221 all appear to have been from the supplier Fotografia Egiziana/Luigi De Michele. It is likely that this was the distributor of these photographs and not the creator. Only half of the photographs have the stamps on the back but since the photographs were all acquired in a group, I am assuming they are from the same source. Generally, they are of very good print quality and in good condition. They are all CDV, small photographs c. 2.2" x 3.5" in size, mounted on 2.5" x 4" card stock.
